Congratulations Tamta Arakhamia for winning the Bridges & Sturtevant Prize in Biological Sciences!

Each year, the Bridges & Sturtevant Prize is awarded to one or more graduating seniors whose experimental or computational research is deemed to have been both highly original and fruitful by a committee of faculty to be selected by the Chair of Biological Sciences at Columbia University. The award is an exceptional honor for graduating seniors and comes with a $1,000 cash prize. Tamta joins past recipient and Fitzpatrick Lab alumnus Christina Lee ‘21 in receiving this prestigious award.
